Declines in Canadian Home Prices Slow in July 2022!

According to the Canadian Real Estate Association, sales of homes across the country slowed even more in July 2022!


National home sales drop by 5.3% on a month-over-month basis in July 2022.


Actual monthly activity was 29.3% below July 2021.

The number of new listings fell by 5.3% month-over-month.

The MLS Home Price Index fell 1.7% month-over-month but it was still up 10.9% year-over-year.

The actual national average sale price went down by 5% year-over-year decline in July.
